Michaella Rose Kendrick

Michaella (she/her/hers) is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and health equity. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Rights Studies from Trinity College in 2018 and completed a thesis examining the benefits of LGBTQ-specific transitional living programs. Michaella remains connected to her alma mater. After college, she provided grantmaking support to foundations with focus areas including gender equity and reproductive health. She now works in homeless services at a public health organization helping respond to COVID. She aims to act with empathy, promote accessibility, and center the experiences of marginalized folks through her work. 

Michaella regularly writes and speaks about LGBTQ+ topics. She writes about her personal experiences with mental health, relationships, faith, and her career, all in the context of being a queer woman. Additionally, Michaella supports young queer and marginalized folks through one-on-one mentoring.
